Psychology
TheDivision of Psychology and Behavioral Healthat OSF Children's Hospital of Illinois offers evaluation, assessment and treatment of children with emotional, behavioral and developmental problems from ages birth through 18 years old and to their families.
The services provided include:
- Attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder(ADHD) evaluation and management
- Behavioral managements
- Family therapy
- Individual therapy
- Medically related adjustment disorders (Diabetes, CF, evaluation and management)
- Psychological evaluation
- Stress management
The staff does not treat psychiatric emergencies and instead refers them to the Emergency Department at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center, and a local psychiatrist is consulted for management.
