OSF HealthCare is partnering with theUniversity of Illinois Chicago (UIC)through theCommunity Health Advocacy (CHA)解决城市社区健康和健康挑战的方案。

Through the commitment from OSF HealthCare and the University of Illinois Chicago, matching gifts, resources and talent will collaborate on multidisciplinary projects.

The CHA program builds on the success of theOSF Innovation Labat theUIC Innovation Center, where interdisciplinary teams of faculty and students work together to find new solutions to combat problems in health care.

Project Highlight

A new approach to mental health support for students

CHA is focused on combating community health challenges in the greater Chicago Metro area. Our focus is to develop solutions that benefit our community and can be scaled to impact lives on a regional, national and global level.

Projects are reviewed by an independent panel of leaders, physicians, faculty and subject matter experts from OSF HealthCare and the University of Illinois. Projects are selected based on factors related to clinical need, market analysis, strategic alignment and other factors.

The Community Health Advocacy program offers many opportunities for students, faculty and clinicians to engage in project work apart from leading a project team. Gain experience working on a team, support the review process as a subject matter expert or connect with investigators developing an RFP.
